Like most independent schools, Langley’s tuition only covers about 93 percent of the actual cost of educating our students. The remaining gap between tuition income and operating expenses is bridged by Annual Fund gifts. Annual Fund donations are spent in entirety within the fiscal year of the gift and are not used for building projects or major capital expenditures. A tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund is one of the most important ways to give because it directly supports Langley students. These unrestricted dollars are used for computers, library books, team uniforms, musical instruments, financial aid, faculty professional development, and more.
